Established in 1912, Privatklinik Bethanien is a prominent multi-specialty hospital in Switzerland with 470 beds. As the first Swiss hospital certified by ISO 9002, it prioritizes delivering the highest quality services, meeting the standards of ISO 9001:2015.

With over 15 specialized centers including Gynecology, Cardiology, Oncology, Nephrology, and Neurology, the hospital serves over 5,000 patients annually, with approximately 500 births in the maternity wards. In 2010, it joined the Swiss Medical network of 21 hospitals.

Since February 2022, Privatklinik Bethanien has been equipped with a Papillon 50 device, enhancing its radio-oncology services for intestinal cancer and remaining the sole facility in Switzerland with this capability.
